Lynn Family Stadium sits in Butchertown, right on the edge of NuLu — which makes the East Market District the obvious place to start a Louisville City FC or Racing Louisville match day. Instead of fighting for a parking spot two hours early, post up in NuLu, have a proper pre-game drink, and take a short ride to your seats.
Start with a flight at Louisville Rickhouse
We're a government-bonded rickhouse at 717 E. Market Street, surrounded by walls of aging barrels. Before a match, it's an easy first stop: pull up for a barrel-strength flight, taste a few pours straight from the cask, and you're set for the evening. We offer walk-in flights when space allows, or you can book an experience ahead so your table's ready before kickoff.
Getting to the stadium from NuLu
From the East Market District, Lynn Family Stadium is roughly a mile away — a quick rideshare, or about a 15–20 minute walk if the weather's good. Because game-day parking in Butchertown fills up fast, a lot of fans start in NuLu and grab a short ride to the gates. It's the low-stress way to do a match.
Make it a NuLu bourbon walk
NuLu is one of the densest bourbon-and-dining stretches in the city, so it's easy to build a pre-game crawl. You're within a short walk of names like Angel's Envy, Rabbit Hole, and Whiskey Thief (see our full guide to things to do in NuLu), with plenty of restaurants in between. Start with a flight at the rickhouse, wander a couple of blocks, then close out at the match.
Bringing a group?
Game days are a natural fit for a group outing. If you're organizing a work crew, a birthday, or a bachelor/bachelorette group around a match, we can set up a private pre-game tasting — see private events & group bookings for the details.
