Private Events & Group Bookings

Corporate outings, team building, bachelorette parties, and private bourbon tastings — hosted inside a working rickhouse in the heart of NuLu.

Looking for a private event space in Louisville that isn't another hotel ballroom? Louisville Rickhouse is a government-bonded rickhouse in the East Market District (NuLu), surrounded by walls of aging barrels — a genuinely different backdrop for corporate events, celebrations, and group bourbon tastings. Your group gets a dedicated host, barrel-strength pours, and a setting people actually remember.

Events we host

Corporate

Corporate Events & Client Entertaining

Impress a team or a client with a private bourbon tasting in a working rickhouse. A memorable alternative to dinner-and-drinks for offsites, retreats, and client hosting.

Team Building

Team Building Activities

A guided tasting (or a group single barrel pick) gets people talking and gives a Louisville team-building outing real substance — not a trust fall in sight.

Celebrations

Bachelorette & Bachelor Parties

Kick off the celebration in NuLu with a private flight. A favorite stop on a Louisville bachelorette or bachelor weekend, and easy to pair with the rest of the bourbon district.

Private Tastings

Private Group Tastings

Reserve a guided bourbon tasting just for your group — barrel-strength pours, expert hosting, and the option to leave with bottles.

Occasions

Birthdays & Milestones

Birthdays, anniversaries, and big-deal celebrations land differently surrounded by a wall of aging barrels.

Buyouts

Private Event Space & Buyouts

Take the whole rickhouse. A private event space in the heart of NuLu for larger parties, receptions, and company gatherings.

How it works

Most private bookings are built around one of our tasting experiences — from a guided barrel-strength flight to a group single barrel pick where your team chooses a barrel together. Tell us your group size, your date, and what you're celebrating, and we'll shape the format around it.

Inside Louisville Rickhouse — barrel walls and lounge seating in NuLu, an ideal private event space

A group single barrel pick is the standout

For corporate teams and milestone celebrations, our Single Barrel Experience is the one people talk about afterward. Your group tastes through barrel candidates and selects one together — and walks away with bottles to remember it by. It's hands-on, a little competitive, and uniquely Louisville.

Right in the middle of NuLu

We're at 717 E. Market Street, in the heart of the East Market District. That means your group is walkable to other NuLu distilleries, a short ride from Whiskey Row and downtown hotels, and close to Lynn Family Stadium — so a private tasting slots easily into a bigger day out. Plan your event

Send us your group size and a couple of possible dates, and we'll get back to you with options. Corporate, bachelorette, team building, or a private buyout — we'll build it around your group.

Request a Date
How many people can you host for a private event?

We host everything from small private groups to full buyouts of the rickhouse. Tell us your headcount and date in your inquiry and we'll confirm what fits.

How does pricing work?

Most group bookings are built around our tasting experiences, which start at $50 per person, with our Single Barrel Experience at $150 per person (a bottle is included). Private buyouts and custom corporate formats are quoted based on group size and what you want included.

Can you do a custom single barrel pick for our group?

Yes. A group single barrel selection is one of our most popular corporate and celebration formats — your group tastes through candidates and chooses a barrel together.

Where are you located, and is it good for out-of-town groups?

We're at 717 E. Market Street in NuLu (the East Market District), walkable to other NuLu distilleries and a short ride from Whiskey Row and downtown hotels — easy for visiting teams and wedding parties.

How far in advance should we book?

The sooner the better, especially for weekends and bourbon-season dates. Send your inquiry with a couple of possible dates and we'll get back to you quickly.
